The National Council of Seyfolu through its secretary general, Lamin SI
Jammeh, has written to the Gambian leader His Excellency, Sheikh Professor
Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, thanking him for donating 40 tractors to district
chiefs across the country.

The letter reads:
Sir, following your recent donation of 40 brand new tractors to the 40
District Chiefs across the country, both the Executive Committee and the
entire membership of the National Council of Seyfolu has agreed by mutual
consent, for me to write to you on the thanksgiving.

Both the Committee and its individual members have expressed their deepest
appreciation and prayer for your long life and good health, as well as that
of your descendants. It is the view of this Council that this excellent
gesture of yours has in effect almost completed the July 22nd Revolution. In
view of this, you are once again being assured of our loyalty to you,
Solidarity with you and support for you at all times and in all manners
without limitations.

However, as the Presidential election is just at the corner, it is
indisputable that the stance of this Council in this particular respect,
shall soon be visible to every eye.

Once again, you are thanked sincerely.
