Comrade K,
'Wa inna hee lempo fari datun!'.
I will remember this verse in all my days. The issue of Islam and slavery
poses a huge theoretical problem for learned Muslims of African descent
particularly. The territory is elusive and covered with quicksand; for if
slavery is not condemned like alcoholism and other vices, were the Arabs
then spiritually emboldened in there sanguinary raids throughout the East
Africa coast? Is it unimaginable to trace the roots of Arab racism towards
Blacks in both capitalism and Islam? Oops, questions just pop out of my
black brain.
Oh...my computer is suffering from the effects of "mescalin".
Regards,
Sidibeh
