Sounds familiar! Remembered Collin Power's (Bush Administration) graphic
presentation of Iraqi WMD threat at UN to persuade that global body to
approve war. To date only God knows what's the truth - no WMDs found after
the invasion.
Yesterday Obama on 60 minutes blamed faulty intelligence about ISIS
(underestimated) and Iraqi army (overestimated).
The question now - how much should the world body rely on America's
intelligence to make such consequential decisions? Or is America's
politicians deliberately twist the intelligence to suit their agenda?
Should those making such errors be punished - think about blood and
treasure those wars cost?
What else can we believe that comes out of a politician? What's their
motivation?
If I behave as such amongst my friends or in the clan (kabiloo) nobody will
trust me for ever unless I demonstrate a practical reversal of that
behavior.
Instead, for politicians either side busy trying to teach us what they
meant to say - listen to the rationales of Bush/Obama teams. Why not say it
in such manner it doesn't have to be clarify.
It's insane!
