Affaires béret rouge : Le colonel Abidine Guindo arrêté
Le Colonel Abidine Guindo, l’ancien aide de camp de l’ancien Président malien Amadou Toumani Touré et chef du corps du Régiment des Commandos Parachutistes, a été mis aux arrêts le 11 juillet à l’ACI 2000, soit plus de deux mois après les évènements du 30 avril. Abidine Guindo a été arrêté sans échange de tirs, a appris Le Républicain, de sources proches de sa famille qui exprimaient des craintes pour sa vie.
Selon un communiqué émanant du gouvernement, son arrestation est liée à l’évènement du 30 avril dernier (attaque des bérets rouges contre les positions du CNRDRE). Il est gardé en lieu sûr et sera mis à la disposition de la justice, une fois les enquêtes terminées, indique le communiqué du gouvernement.
Le Président Amadou Toumani Touré a été renversé le 22 mars 2012 par une junte militaire dirigé par le Capitaine Amadou Haya Sanogo. Ladite junte s’est constituée en Comité national de redressement de la démocratie et de la restauration de l’Etat (CNRDRE).
Les positions du CNRDRE au niveau de la télévision nationale, de l’aéroport de Sénou et du Camp Soundiata Kéita de Kati ont été prises pour cibles par le corps du Régiment des Commandos Parachutistes, communément appelé « les bérets rouges ». Ces affrontements avaient fait au moins 22 morts et des dizaines de blessés.
Le président du CNRDRE, Amadou Haya Sanogo, a rendu le pouvoir le 6 avril, à la faveur d’un accord-cadre qu’il a signé avec les médiateurs de la CEDEAO. Les affrontements ont été suivis de nombreuses arrestations dans les rangs des bérets rouges.
