The RAN HOTEL switchboard has finally responded.  The Team has not been
evacuated nor moved to a safe location as reported in my earlier message.
According to Sidi Kinteh, the GFA official heading the Gambian delegation,
negotiations between the the mutineers and the Red Cross are ongoing for a
safe passage of all the football players caught up in the stand-off. I
apologise for suggesting that the team might have been moved or evacuated.
