A judge has ruled against a man in the UK who tried to settle a£800 ($1,270) accounting bill with five crates filled with small coins, statingthat the debt was “not properly paid.” The disgruntled customer dumped theboxes in the garden of a co-director at the accounting firm that he owed. Theexecutive returned home to find a payment weighing 166 kg (365 pounds). As itturns out, UK law prohibits paying in change if the bill is more than £10.
