CODESRIA, in collaboration with SEPHIS, is pleased to announce the launching
of a workshop programme for young Historians focusing on new theories and
methods in Social History. This new programme is intended for doctoral
students enrolled in a PhD course at a University located in Southern
countries (Africa, Asia, Latin America and Caribbean).

The application must be received before April 30, 2000.
