We are confident you are aware of developments unfolding in our country for the past three weeks regarding witchcraft and witch-hunting. Assuredly, you are doing your best individually to afford global reason and sobriety.
We now call upon you to synthesize those individual efforts into a larger coordinated effort and bear on President Yahya Jammeh to cease and desist from the foolhardy and potentially incendiary demarche. Further, to request the unconditional release of our honourable Halifa Sallah, secretary General of PDOIS, CHief Ebrima Manneh, Kanyibaa Kanyi, and all those abducted prior without prejudice.
We will forward a delegation to your offices to appeal to the honour and inspirations of your good offices. We encourage you to receive this delegation and to accord it your wise counsel and the resources of your honours.
