CFA Franc Depreciates
DAKAR, Senegal (PANA) - After maintaining stability in the past one month and half, the CFA franc dropped a few francs this week, averaging 620.80 for one US dollar from 608.64 last week and 612.60 to the greenback two weeks ago.
In Dakar, the currency exchanged at 609 (buying) and 639 (selling) for one dollar from 596 (buying) and 626 (selling) to the American currency on the same day last week.
