Justice Moses Richards of the Special Criminal Court (SCC) in Banjul has
been relieved of his position as high court judge effective Friday, April
23rd, 2010, the Daily Observer can reveal.

Although no reason was publicly advanced for his removal, this reporter
reliably gathered that the SCC judge was handed his marching order at about
08:00 am on Friday. When contacted, the acting judicial secretary, John
Belford confirmed the  removal of Justice Richards.
