This is a very sad loss. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Sam P. Njie was indeed a wonderful gentleman; he was someone who served with honour, virtue and distinction during his career in the Gambia Civil Service and he subsequently uphold and promoted the good image of Gambians working for international organisation during his tenure at the ComSec and UN respectively. 

My condolence to Jackie Njie and rest of the Njie family.

On behalf of Penda, Jackie Njie, Bajen kanjang Jeng Njie and Family, we regret to announce the passing of Mr Sam Pierre Njie, which sadly happened in London last Tuesday.  Most people will remember Sam at the Commonwealth Office in London and he later worked for the UN.  A wonderful gentleman has gone.  May his soul rest in perfect peace (AMEN).
