Here is some explanation.
The figure of 481,884 given by Carayol represents the total number of voters in only the contested wards. The total number of voters on the current register is 796,929. Out of this, 315, 045 voters (39.5 %) will not be voting because their wards will not be contested.

'UDP no more' Right...Cherno, are you saying, every elections requires registration of voters, even local government? This will not just be a waste of money, but an unnecessary exercise.
The registration just 2011 November is still valid, we are still is that election circle. I thought an economist like you will provide a better succinct analysis not random UDP wayward comments.
