Great work Karim.

I think it will be a good idea to hold a Gambia Day of Action here in the US to replace this year's July 4th pageantry. I am confident our American brothers and sisters would love that idea. I would like to liaise with you and Amnesty Intl to see how we can bring that about.

Good work Karim.
Haruna.

Some of you may be aware already from the Freedom Radio interview. UDP Administrative Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr Femi Peters is in U.K for over a week now. He is here for an official engagement. The UDP.U.K is delighted to host a diner for Mr Peters on Tuesday the 17th. He is in high spirit after the imprisonment. Femi extends his heart felt thanks all Gambians that came out in London to protest against his jailing. His thanks goes to the Coalition for Human Rights U.K (Malick Kah was there, Abdoukarim Sanneh, Abdoulai Jobe, Ibrahim Chongan) and also to Sanusi Owen UDP, Banoramas Gambia Matters, Sapteu Sarr UDP, Dave Manneh a concern Gambian and the entire membership of UDP U.K and other well wishing Gambians. Over fifty Gambians attended, which is in truth quality in numbers

Femi extends his great admiration and thanks to you all. He emphasise that, the struggle is a long one. All those interested in getting intouch with him can contact the UDP U.K by email, we will facilitate such communication.
As the Coordinator, I thank Mr Siaka Jatta for providing a venue for the Diner in respect to our UDP Bantanba (formidable Piller) Femi Peters. Also Bamba Mass for travelling around with Mr Peters and all the other members for their solidarity with Mr Peters.
Together we can change a difficult political problem.
Thanks
Suntou Touray
