APRC Militant: Vote Yahya Jammeh For President...

 [image: sticker[1].jpg]

It is July 28th 2011 and the end of the MEET THE PEOPLE TOUR in the Gambia
by the President which is a constitutional mandate, but for the fact that is
an election year, I see opposition leaders making claims that the president
is on a campaign gear. I believe the president does this every year, but out
of paranoia and the waves of opposition defectors to the APRC party is
causing the opposition leaders to try and find something to hang on to since
no one else is left to their disposal for them to deliver the supposedly
message they got for the electorates.

I live in the Diaspora with a sizable amount of Gambians whom some by no
means associate themselves with a political party, but lately I read on the
papers where some of the opposition militants are urging Diaspora to
withheld their remittance back home or linked it up to their family members
vote for their choice of candidate or they will not continue supporting them
if these family members continue to vote for president Jammeh.

What a nonsensical and self centered idea or I should say Dictatorial idea,
but one thing I will tell those that are planning to stop sending remittance
to their families is that the only person losing is the families back home,
because all the opposition leaders are at least able to put food on the
table for themselves if I am right, so to attached your support to your
family with your political choice is kind of insane, and it will not change
anything, since the opposition in the Diaspora is very minimal other than
the cyber warriors who thinks writing good articles is what a good
politician is.

I understand your frustration and share some it, since your choices of
candidates are not popular, but the hypocrisy and lack of clear values in
our political opponent's messages makes me believe that you guys are in for
a long ride. November 24th 2011 is approaching fast and I already foresee
the results of the elections which is a victory for the APRC and I have not
seen anything out there yet that will make me think other than a landslide
victory, and my reasons are very visible, because the average Gambian back
home is happy with the progress of the country, and I mean even the people
who does not support President Jammeh gives him props for the multitude of
development in the Gambia. And that alone speaks volume for the kind of
leader we got and the kind of opposition we got in the Gambia.

I was also very much following the IEC registration and I believe it was
very transparent considering the Gambia does not have the capacity or
resources to conduct like they do here in America where most of us are
residing and we believe that everything concerning the electoral process is
100% accurate, but no, because we saw what happen recently in Wisconsin and
the 2000 presidential election in Florida, so if some of the opposition
leaders and their militants want to score political point, then there is a
larger avenue that picking about, let's say 100 registered voters out of
869,000 and calling it fraudulent makes no sense at all.

I, as an APRC supporter I am appealing to everyone who believes in the
advancement of the Gambia to vote for president Jammeh especially the youths
who we all know are really benefiting from the APRC government, and the
vision president Jammeh got for the future of our country is what makes me
believe that YES WE WILL TOO. I also heard what Uncle Hamat Bah said on
Radio Freedom about not to condone anything that will destabilize our
Motherland the Gambia and I expect others to follow that sentiment unless if
they already did.

I always say the Gambia belongs to all of us and if one bleeds we all bleed
directly or indirectly, so for anyone to propagate or try to instigate
trouble with our borders or beyond should be repudiated without any
malicious motives. Finally as I always say we Gambians are very unique,
because of our upbringings, and if what was instilled in us is still within
us then these political rhetoric that we see on a daily basis should not
stop us to see John Doe and Jane Doe exchange ideas that will move the
Gambia forward and out of the bottom countries in the world, because the
situation is not about us anymore, but our children and future grandchildren
since most of us are either in our late 30's and forward, so to this end I
will say let's dialogue, dialogue and dialogue only then we can come to
realize that we all have ONE COMMON SINGULARITY,WHICH IS AN UNDYING LOVE FOR
THE GAMBIA.. ......VOTE APRC AND VOTE PRESIDENT JAMMEH..NOVEMBER 24TH 2011
