The story was well captured by Freedom. You probably followed the recent tirade against the US and Uk by jammeh's new darling, the self appointed Shakespeare or Hitler in the making, the shameful Momodou Sabally. I tried to get the exact place/video where jammeh made the comments and luck wasn't at my favor.

Here is something else I think you all will like to read, if you haven't already....By the time that you complete reading this article, you will realize that a scared coward with anus leaking "poop" to his ass was talking, and was fighting for himself than Jomo kenyata of kenya. I can tell you factually, jammeh himself will choose being tried in a foreign land than being tried in the Gambia. Oh well, he will be lucky if he makes it to trial. I am just saying....and deeply think about people's feelings and what happens when jammeh is encountered....of God, don't save or help him. Beat the evil out of the devil is the only voice that echoes in my mind.

[...
The Gambian leader blamed some of his colleagues for some of the problems in the continent. He said the issue of arrest warrants started with Al-Bashir and has now come to Kenya and the question for that is why now? According to him, Al-Bashir was never referred to the ICC by any African government as far as they are concerned. He said it was the Security Council that referred the Sudanese president and then the ICC issued an arrest warrant for him. He said since the onset, they are not going to accept a sitting African president being indicted without even going through the African Union but nobody said anything because most of them are working for them [the West].
“This is unacceptable; why, because, it is not about Kenya, is about some people among us, if they are arrested and prosecuted because they have committed horrendous war crimes some heads of states will be indicted, so it is a question of trying to save ourselves. But where it started is a matter of principle, if you are opposed to something you have to oppose it from the beginning.
It has to be based on a principle, but you don’t have to wait until when you smell a rat and you say no, the ICC is targeting Africans and most of the cases before the ICC except that of Omar Al-Bashir were referred to the ICC by the African governments, and for the case of Kenya, the ICC should have been more flexible because the two gentlemen were referred to the ICC by a government they opposed and it was a political move to make sure that they will not win election.
Imagine if you are indicted you stand and campaign as a candidate and that was what the other side was saying, ‘if you vote for these people you don’t have a president because they are indicted by the ICC’. So their indictment was before they became heads of state and now they are the ones elected by the Kenyan people and knowing that they have been indicted by [the] ICC, the Kenyan people are showing us that they care for them and they want them to lead them no matter what they are accused of,” President Jammeh said. ...]

Is freedomnewspaper cooking the stories or is it our president who says one thing and do the very opposite, hard times are here, the “Imperialist “ and “neo colonialist” are training our military men, mind the gap?

Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh has announced that his government is going to cut off security treaties it had signed with the United States government, including other Western nations since in his own words “the Obama administration is harboring dissidents, who used the US as a base to attack his government to the point of insulting him.” Mr. Jammeh said from now on, no Gambian soldier will be sent to the United States to be trained alleging that the Obama administration is “vicious” and it is capable of indoctrinating and poisoning the minds of Gambian army officers on security training here in US soil to hate the government in Banjul; and possibly overthrow his regime from power......."

On Friday, October 18, Captain Amat Jangum of the Gambia armed forces went to the United States of America to attend a leadership training program, called the Next Generation of African Security Sector Leaders Course.

The three-week program, funded by the United States government, is held at the Africa Center for Strategic Studies in Washington, DC.

The program was designed to teach and enhance professionalism, ethics and leadership in the security sector, and is attended by mid-level security sector professionals from throughout Africa.

Additionally, the program will examine Africa’s contemporary and emerging security threats, while exploring the best ways to enhance relationships between civilians and the security sector in order to advance good governance and democracy in Africa.
