Coach, the UDP saw this coming, so did Gambians. If you have replaced the name Femi Peters with Ousainou Darboe, you will get the same result. The reality is if Ousainou were whisked to jail today, Gambians will go on with their business and ain't a thing going to happen and both Yaya and Ousainou knows that. Did the rest of Gambia not pumped with poison just recently? What did the party leaders and their supporters do for the people? No, the sky will not fall on this injustice either. You are talking about taking the regime on while Ousainou is talking about filing an appeal. With that mindset, Femi Peters like Uwaa, Rambo, Nyassi, and countless others will rot in jail until Yaya pleases to release him, while the useless pursuit of a futile legal process is pursued. Coach, Ousainou is doing what Ousainou wants to do. However, let's start talking about opposition unity, then you see the lion in him. Aanukwele! This is ridiculous! If UDP folks are rotting in jail and Ousainou is still praying and appealing, you think there is any urgency for the plight of the rest of Gambia? You think Gambians don't know that? Of course they do. Yaya knows he is dealing with cowards and thus he will continue to push the envelop. Ousainou, go ahead, appeal to the rest of eternity to your heart's pleasing. Just remember, the same urgency will be exercised when you are whisked to jail. Lord knows that is what you are dying to avoid. It is not that you are smart by ducking, but it is what I call the lack of bone. Where is the might among the opposition that you claim? Where are the numbers that you claim? You said you will sweep the polls, yet you are bating zero for 100 with these schemes by Yaya. Your whole household can be locked up and you will not do a thing but waste their time in jail under the guise of appealing. Your appeals are now a stale joke in Yaya's circles. In fact, Yaya may be throwing an Appeal BBQ, knowing that is the first thing you will say. Hey, if you cannot stand the heat, then get the hell out of the kitchen and to the back. Appeal my foot! Coach, we all have something to loose with one more day with Yaya, but this opposition mentality cannot continue to waste our time. The rest would have done exactly what Ousainou is doing. However, attempt to even suggest coming and before you cae saw together you see them begin to initiate their coma with their rage.

This is yet another blatant injustice. I calling on all to put political affiliations aside and see the injustice against Femi Peters as an injustice against all Gambians. The time for the opposition to stand up and confront this illegal regime is way overdue. I hope the opposition leaders are as outraged as we are. How can a legitimate political party be denied the right to hold a rally?

UDP Executive members $B_~ (Bt the Magistrate court indeed confirmed that, the errand boy Nigerian hustler have sentenced Femi Peters to one imprison for using a loud speaker and D10,000 fine for unlawful gathering.
This sick Magistrate who careless about Gambia's democracy have given the tyrant another avenue to pardon Peters on compassionate grounds. We all know Yahay is playing prank, all he would do is just like he did with the Seven Journalist brothers.
The sad President enjoy doing God. UDP will appeal, but as usual, he will release Peters before such date on false compassionate grounds.
We will plan to stage a demonstration at the Nigerian embassy, in association with Liberal parties in London very soon.
