Congrats to my good old friend. The only concern is that "Secretary
General" is Njogu's throne. I wonder how long before my friend gets booted
and Njogu is reinstated.

*The Gambian leader His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh
has appointed Momodou Sabally, director of Budget at the Ministry of
Finance and Economic Affairs as acting secretary general and head of the
Civil Service, a press release from the Office of the President revealed. *The
President of the Republic has also re-assigned Dr. Njogou L. Bah as
minister of Petroleum.


*The release reads:*

The general public is hereby informed that His Excellency The President of
the Republic of The Gambia Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr. Yahya A.J.J Jammeh,
acting under the Provisions of Section 71(1) & 73(3) of the Constitution of
the Republic of The Gambia has re-assigned Dr. Njogou L. Bah as Minister of
Petroleum with effect from today 10th June 2013.


In the same vein, His Excellency the President has appointed Mr Momodou
Sabally, Director of Budget at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs
to act as Secretary General and Head of the Civil Service with immediate
effect.
