PILLAR: ALASAN JAH
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un (انا لله وانا اليه راجعون) “To Allah
we belong and to Him we shall return”
The Atlanta community mourns the passing of one of their own
– Alasan Jah; his passing has left a gaping hole in the Atlanta community. He was a father, a husband, a friend and a
community activist, and a natural with a Microphone in his hands. Vintage
Alasan, who on this past Sunday was at the Lakewood Stadium, the final day of
the July Fourth weekend, hugging and laughing with friends as if he was bidding
his good byes to the people he dearly loved.
The Atlanta community will hold a prayer service for Alasan
on Friday July 12, 2013 at 3PM(prompt),
to be held at Masjid Al-Mu’minun, 1127 Hank Aaron Drive, Atlanta, GA30315 (blocks from Turner Field). Our brother
left with us a very loving wife Haddy, two lively and active boys; Samba and
Mohammed and of course a whole masses of family and friends.

raise funds, to help support the family in this our very trying times. Please

eternity. Indeed our Man, a Man of God, A humble Man, A father and an extremely
loving Husband has left us. We have been dealt God's hands once again and yes,
the person He took from us reminds us all of our mortality. With that eternal
smile, He lies fast asleep in God's kingdom while we ponder over why him.
Knowing him, I bet he'd have an eloquent explanation for all.”
