R.O.C.K.
Raising Our Celiac Kids
SUPPORT GROUP FOR KIDS WITH CELIAC DISEASE
Thursday, February 19, 2004, 7:00 p.m.
The Central New Jersey chapter of R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Celiac Kids) is
hosting a support group meeting on Thursday, February 19 at 7:00 p.m. the Monmouth
County Library Headquarters, Symmes Road in Manalapan, New Jersey.
R.O.C.K. is a national support group that assists families of children on a
gluten-free diet. Celiac disease is a common, yet underdiagnosed digestive
disorder that requires lifelong adherence to a gluten-free diet. Other members
of R.O.C.K. include families of autistic children, as evidence suggests that
autistic kids who adhere to a gluten-free/casein-free diet often show remarkable
improvement.
The R.O.C.K. meeting is free and open to the public.
