Hi List!
Its been a while for me since being a member of the list. I guess the last
time I belonged to the list I wasn't quite sure about diabetes and what it
meant and how serious a disease it is. And having Celiac on top of it.
Well now, for some reason, I've finally come to my senses and want to do
something about both conditions. Maybe I've just realized that I'm not
immortal and if I keep ignoring these diseases I'm not going to live as
long as I should.
But, I need help from the list. I feel so overwhelmed by what I need to do.

I'm overweight by about 100lbs. or more. I want to get rid of that. And
even though I'm anxious to get rid of it, I know it takes time.
But more importantly, what the heck do we celiac-diabetics eat? It seems
very
frustrating?
I was diagnosed with type 2 about two -three years ago.
To show you how stupid I have been, I was under the impression that if I
lost the weight I need to, I wouldn't have diabetes any longer.
To say the least I'm not a quick study. I guess that's obvious.
Anyway, I'd like to hear from any list members that might be able to help
me get over this overwhelming feeling of isolation, confusion, and the work
I need to do in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Lester J. from NJ
