This week & next week on Realistic Utopia, Rev. Billy of the Church of
Stop Shopping preaches in the Pit of Hell itself (a.k.a. Times Square)
against the evil multinational corporations & their logos, as the U.S.
government launches its sales campaign to get us to buy a new war (or is
it a used war they're selling?)

Backed up by the Stop Shopping Choir, Rev. Billy was in the traffic
island at 43rd & Broadway, just north of the military recruiting booth
(speaking of evil!) on Sunday Sept. 29, where his sermon & the choir's
hymns were filmed for a European documentary called "Knockoff: Revenge
Against the Logos," about the world of those "who have not been invited
to the table" by modern multinational capitalism, and so instead eke out
livings by making or selling counterfeit brand-name items (the Rev. is,
of course, very much in favor of this attack on the idolatry of
logoism).

You can see excerpts from this event at midnight this Monday night &
next (Oct 28 & Nov 4) on channel 34, Manhattan public access TV
(simulcast on the internet at www.mnn.org) on Realistic Utopia.
