I'm glad you asked this question. I am on version 102. I have updates set
to automatic & every once in a while when I open Firefox, it says it is
updating, please wait. So I thought I was current. Now - how do I update
to 113? There is no update option under the Help or Tools menu.

Thanks,

Sherry Wells

Sherry,

Have you verified that you're running Firefox 113 or later?

Subject: [VICUG-L] Firefox Extremely Slow

Hi,

I am using the current version of Firefox, Windows 10, current version of
Fusion. Firefox is extremely slow. I open a page & let it load. I use h
to jump to headings & have to wait longer than I should for each jump to
happen. I use the arrow keys & same thing, an extra long wait until Firefox
moves to the next item. I use Chrome & Edge for other things & no problems
there. I want to use Firefox for some particular web sites as I like to
download articles as text files for later reading. Last time I checked, I
could not download to a text file using Chrome or Edge.

Does anyone else have this problem with Firefox? Any ideas on something I
can do to speed things up?

Thanks,

Sherry Wells
