A financial claim IS a reality. A financial reality.

Forsan 'claim' non es le parola correcte in anglese. Io habeva
problemas trovar le bon parola. In nederlandese il es "vordering"
(germano: http://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/Forderung :
(Kaufmannssprache) aus einer Warenlieferung oder Leistung
resultierender finanzieller Anspruch). Piet Cleij traduce lo como
'credito', ma illo es confundente, proque un tal credito es
_debito_ sur le balancia!)

geldvordering = requesta de moneta/pecunia
But it's not a request, it's a demand. Ergo forsan, in
interlingua: demanda, exigentia?

"A title to a debt" probabilemente es le melior description.

Un puncto importante es un tal "claim" non vole dicer que le
"claimant" exige reciper le moneta immediatemente. Por exemplo,
in un presto hypothecari, le moneta (o grande portiones del
summa) pote esser "non-claimable" durante 30 annos, <code switch,
sorry> but it's still a financial claim. Likewise, if a central
bank is no longer required to exchange a bank note for gold
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nixon_Shock), that bank note still
represents a claim of the holder on the central bank. That
banknote is presented on the debit side of the holder's balance
sheet, and as credit (= a debt) in the central bank's balance sheet.

The Fed (like any other central bank) publishes its balance
sheets: you can see the bank notes incirculation there. At the
credit (right) side of the balance sheet.
